During winter 2008, the Majestic Barrière made a splash when it closed for over 4 months for the complete renovation of 305 rooms as well as the hall and public areas in a resolutely elegant and modern style. Since the hotel reopened on 10th March 2008, it is the latest 4* hotel in Cannes to be completely renovated.

The 305 rooms, of which over 70% have sea views, have been decorated with fashionable colours in line with the authenticity and tradition that the Barrière hotels represent. Each room has an LCD screen and Wi-Fi Internet facilities.

The 12 meeting rooms are all located in the same area, next to each other; the ideal settings for seminars and conferences for up to 200 guests. Our facilities are especially suitable for business visitors: specific services for specific guests with hi-tech conference equipment, broadband phone lines, Wi-Fi Internet connection throughout the hotel and a business centre.

Numerous eating outlets, private rooms, Fouquet’s Cannes brasserie luxury, a private beach (appreciated by celebrities during festivals), plus the gardens and terraces; a host of opportunities to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine during your business lunches or evening entertainment.

Regarding incentives, for those who enjoy sports: water sports (in season)  from the jetty, helicopter, hot-air balloon, formula 3 and kart racing are available, while those who enjoy relaxation may lounge on stylish sun beds on the hotel’s private beach (in season), and others may wish to discover the region with our exciting range of excursions (cruises out to the Lérins Iles, rambles around Esterel, treasure hunts in mini zodiacs, car rallies along the coast and in the hinterland...).
